2026 Board Member Nomination Acceptance

President Nomination Acceptance:

I, Megg Hall, accept the nomination of President for the Arizona Browncoats Incorporated.

I have been involved with the AZBC off and on throughout my adult life and have been a board member in various roles since 2016. I am honored to have spearheaded the transition from being a state nonprofit to a federal 501(c)(3) and consider that to be my legacy that will last in this organization long after I have moved on.

Looking forward, I’m excited to think about the new generation of Browncoats that we are cultivating already, and the ones that will be appearing with the revival and how we will grow and change as an organization.

Being part of this organization that is able to raise money for various charities and good works throughout our community while having fun at our various social events and conventions is a dream come true for me and I cannot wait to see where else this adventure will take me.

-Megan “Megg” Hall

Treasurer Nomination Acceptance:

I am honored to accept the nomination for Treasurer of the Arizona Browncoats.

With a degree in Business Management and my background as a small business owner, I am well-versed in maintaining transparent ledgers and managing budgets effectively. I’m eager to apply those skills to ensure our finances stay "shiny" and our crew has the resources needed to keep flying.

Communications Nomination Acceptance:

I, Zach Hoyt, accept my nomination for the role of Communications Director for the Arizona Browncoats. I have more than 15 years of graphic design experience, and am the incumbent in this role. In the past 6 years working in the role of Communications Director, I have introduced limited edition merchandise exclusive to specific events or online sales, helped launch a print on demand program allowing us to have merchandise available without maintaining an inventory and lowering our overhead costs, and led the organization through a branding redesign and the launch of a new website. Moving forward, my vision is to have the Arizona Browncoats come into partnership with more local artists on a volunteer basis in an effort to introduce a wide range of  visual art to share Arizona's diverse culturing community with Browncoats around the 'verse.

Events Director Nomination Acceptance:

I, James "Jim" Springer, accept my nomination for Events Director for the Arizona Browncoats.

Dear Arizona Browncoats Leadership and Members,

I would like to formally accept the nomination for the position of Events Director for the Arizona Browncoats.

It is an honor to serve an organization dedicated to community, fellowship, charity, and keeping the spirit of the Browncoat family alive throughout Arizona. I look forward to helping ensure that the Corporation remains active year-round through engaging social gatherings, charitable events, and community activities that reflect the values and mission of the organization.

I understand that the responsibilities of the Events Director include supporting and coordinating activities approved by the membership, encouraging participation from both members and the wider community, and helping develop events that strengthen our organization and its outreach efforts. I also recognize the importance of following the guidelines established for Special Events and budgeted activities as outlined in Article VI.

My goal in this role is to help create welcoming, organized, and memorable experiences for our members while encouraging new opportunities for community involvement and charitable engagement. I am excited to work alongside the officers and membership to continue building a strong and active Arizona Browncoats presence.

Thank you for your trust and confidence. I am proud to accept this position and look forward to serving the organization to the best of my ability.

Sincerely,

James "Jim" Springer

Calling all Browncoats, in Arizona and beyond.

We have said for years that they can't stop the signal. We have said that they can't take the sky from us; that we are still flying. For more than two decades our love has kept our fandom in the air.
